Usually the North Country has vibrant autumnal colors this time of year…but something different has happened…the North Country isn’t red, gold, yellow…it’s turned PINK! That’s right, THINK PINK! In honor of Breast Cancer awareness and the Susan B. Komen “31 Days of Action,” the OSC will be hosting one day of PINK BINGO! In addition to the fun PINK prizes, we will also be collecting funds to send directly to the Susan B. Komen Fund. So come decked out in some pink and support your friends, family members and women all over the world that have been affected by breast cancer. Every little bit helps!
A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT– And the “Most Spirited” goes too… Fara McKinely!! Congratulations.
Thank you everyone for coming out and showing your school spirit at the September luncheon.
As Fall begins here in the North Country, I am reminded of all the beauty that surrounds us. The leaves changing colors, the crisp morning air, the smell of apple cider and the early morning sunrises. And with the changes with Fall, I am also reminded of OSC’s next big event, The Craft Fair on November 12. If you or your FRG is interested in having a table, please contact Jodi Kemple jokemple@aol.com or Gracey Wike at graceylew@gmail.com.
I am excited to announce that in conjunction with ESC, we are doing the first ever (at Fort Drum) Holiday Tree and Wreath Auction!! This event will take place on December 21st. So, FRG’s Coffee Groups, Neighborhoods and all get your creative juices flowing and donate a tree or wreath. .For more information look on our website or contact Amy Walton amyr1221@yahoo.com.
Happy Fall, y’all! Paige
