In case you haven’t noticed…It’s COLD outside! Sub-zero temperatures are a chilly reminder that we’re in the North Country and winter’s worst is still to come! Uh-Oh! So come and warm-up with us as we patiently await the warmer months with our last four events of the year!
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???
We have our February Silent Auction, March Luau Bingo, April Casino Night and then the presentation of awards in May! Did you hear that? May, warmer months and flowers…ahhhhhhhh (I need not remind you it snowed on Mother’s Day last year!)
We hope you had a great holiday break and worked off all of your Christmas Cookies with some Zumba during the January Luncheon! Thank-you to all who attended! Check out photos from the event in our photos tab.
A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT:
I hope that this note finds you all well. I find in our home we are back to a normal routine after the Holiday craziness. The OSC has had a wonderful year so far. But we are not done yet, there is plenty more to come.
This month brings our final fundraiser for the 2010-2011 Season, the Annual Silent Auction. Kim and Jodi have worked hard getting donations and setting this event up. I am sure we will be successful in raising a lot of money for our Welfare and Scholarship Fund. Brigades again are stepping up to donate to the event and again many local businesses are being generous. Please consider joining us the evening of February 11th at the Commons. Bring your spouse or attend with a group, tables can be reserved for large groups. Just let Reservations know with an email. I am hoping to see many of you that evening!
